One of the latest inventions of wireless Internet technologies is the Wireless IP Phone. These phones are different from the old telephones in a way that they employ a new technology called VOIP. Some other features offered by VOIP technology of wireless IP phones include call waiting options, video conferencing option and a number of billing plans for the users to choose up on.

These wireless IP phones can well assist the VOIP technology in them. Thus, just making a call from these phones requires only a hot-spot or access point and eliminates the need of any type of cables or radio frequency bands. Access points uses a technology known as Wi-Fi to make calls through the Internet within a range of 100 meters.

Wireless IP phone is, therefore, of a great help to those who travel abroad a lot many times and to those who make calls to their friends and family members settled in some other country.
